E27 Berlin
Tim Brauns was born in Bochum. He first completed an apprenticeship as an orthopedic mechanic and then studied industrial design at the Berlin University of the Arts. Since 1997, he has run the Berlin design studio e27 together with Fax Quintus and Hendrik Gackstatter. Tim Brauns has held teaching positions in Florence, Berlin, Vienna and Toulouse as well as guest professorships in Germany and Italy.
