Smart Home installation kit for Bopp luminaires. When it is not just about pure lighting control, there is a very good solution for Smart Home based on the ZigBee wireless standard. ZigBee is regarded as the most important standard and enables wireless communication via WLAN between a Smart Media device and existing home technology. Using ZigBee, among other things, electric shutters, heating, speakers, and of course luminaires can be controlled. With an integrated ZigBee module, our luminaires can easily be operated via voice control. Use BOPP luminaires with intelligent ZigBee technology and create your special lighting experience.
The wireless lighting control of your luminaire is a control unit certified according to the ZigBee wireless standard for dimmable luminaires. For control with a mobile device (e.g. phone, tablet PC), a gateway and the associated app are required, which provide the interface between the WLAN world (user side) and the ZigBee world (luminaire side).
To integrate it into your ZigBee network, follow the menu-guided user instructions in your app. The luminaire does not belong to a ZigBee network at the factory. In your ZigBee app menu, select “Add luminaire” and follow the menu instructions. Network pairing starts automatically. The connected luminaire flashes twice while the luminaire automatically searches for a network for 15 seconds. After the luminaire has been found and paired with the ZigBee network, the luminaire flashes 6 times and your luminaire appears in your app menu. The luminaire is now paired with the ZigBee network and can be controlled via your ZigBee app. To repeat the network pairing, switch the luminaire off and on again.
