How to care for lamps with glass, marble, granite, agate and ceramics

To maintain the beauty of your luxury lighting, we recommend the following simple guidelines. When cleaning a lamp, be sure to unplug it from the wall outlet first. Always make sure that no sprays or liquids can get into the lamp fixtures.
For general care, dust your lighting regularly, preferably weekly, with a feather duster or soft, clean cloth.

Marble, granite and agate

Use lukewarm water with a mild soap to clean marble, granite or agate. Gently wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth or chamois. Dry well with a clean, soft cloth. Never use cleaners with acid, ammonia, bleach or harsh chemicals and avoid paper towels or scouring pads.

Ceramics

Clean the ceramics with lukewarm water, a pH-neutral, sulfate-free cleaner and a soft sponge or washcloth. Avoid loofahs, scrub brushes and other materials that may scratch the glaze. If the ceramic surface is profiled, you can use a soft brush to remove dirt in the indentations. Rinse with clean water. Dry the surface after washing with a soft cloth or chamois.

Glass

Never use abrasive cleaners to clean glass, as this can cause scratches. Use appropriate glass cleaning solutions and a microfiber cloth. If you use chemical cleaners, be careful not to spill them on the surrounding surfaces. After drying with a soft cloth, you can use a piece of crumpled newspaper to add extra shine and sparkle to the glass.

Acrylic

Avoid commercial household cleaners, as the chemicals in these products can dull and crack the acrylic. The best way to care for acrylic surfaces, rods and individual parts is to clean them with lukewarm water and a little liquid soap. Rinse with clean water and dry well. Always use a soft cloth for cleaning to avoid scratching the acrylic
